Palonen Music was established in 2013 by musician and luthier Matti Palonen. Specializing in the living tradition of the Kantele, Matti is part of the movement to establish this instrument as a band instrument, while maintaining its beautiful characteristic timbre. With a background in science and lutherie, Matti is continually developing his own kantele designs.
